The Lilies & Stars is a bluegrass band from Japan, we met them at IBMA in Nashville, Tn. The father and Mr. Yamamoto were the only members of the band that could speak
english and it was broken but we could understand each other enough to invite them to
come and be our guest on the radio show. Folks in Lynchburg loved them and what a great time we had.
"Music is the universal language". While they could not speak english, it did not stop them from singing Bluegrass Music in english. Their voices blended together so beautifully as they sang and played the instruments so well. If you ever get the chance to hear them sing and play, please don't miss the opportunity.
This was their first time to visit the USA and we became friends for life and look forward to their next visit here.
